Know-How › Options for delivering data
Send your print data the way you like most: by transfer (isdn, ftp, email) oder by data carrier. Find details about both ways here.
By transfer:
- FTP-upload (identification on request) Direct FTP upload
- Email (address on request)
Please structure the data clearly (various folders) and include details of sender, recipient and project name.
The data should be compressed. Fileformat with Mac: .sit / .sea / .sitx, i.e. with Stuffit, fileformat with PC: .zip, i.e. with Winzip.
By data carrier:
- DVD/CD
Please structure the data clearly (various folders) and provide details of sender, recipient and project name!
Important: please also supply:
- All fonts used by you (screen and printer fonts. Please respect license agreements related to the font software used)
- All imported files
- Original printouts of the current status of the files, or PDF file for viewing
Direct FTP upload
FTP is the way for fast transfer of complex image, text and graphic data via internet. Our tip: compress files prior to sending with .zip or .sit – this step reduces the possibility of transfer errors dramatically.
For upload of your data to our server please use a common FTP programme, i.e. FileZilla for PC or Mac OS X.
Users of Firefox (greater than version 1.5) can install an extension called FireFTP to send data onto our server.
